The fuel crisis in the country, has led to suffering of Kenyans and a mad rush whenever the rare commodity is brought to the nearby petrol station.
Deputy president Dr William Ruto has directed missiles at the government for not taking enough measures to curb the menace that has crippled the economy.
Former Prime minister Raila Odinga, today held a crisis meeting with the oil marketers in a bid to resolve the issue that has affected many people.
Raila Odinga said that the fuel crisis is a global issue caused artificially by a war that came unfortunately and our country must at all times be prepared for any kind of emergency.
“This is an issue that requires extensive national discussions that will come up with a solution so that we deal with these issues and have a proper roadmap for dealing with them even in the future, ” Raila Odinga asserted.
Raila Odinga remarked that Kenya needs to address the issue of strategic reserves since we need to have oil reserves not only at the port but also inland.
He said we need to be put up across the country in places where they are not vulnerable.
