The government has delivered good news to workers amidst covid-19 pandemic. This comes after the ministry of health lifted wearing of face masks in public places.
According to cabinet secretary of health Mutahi Kagwe, Wearing of face masks isn’t mandatory.
Addressing today in Nairobi, Health CS Mutahi Kagwe stated that positive asymptomatic cases needs not isolation but should be observed for five days and workers may have to return to their work place without any further testing.
When covid-19 pandemic in the country had taken its upsurge, tough condition were subjected to workers in a bid of curbing the spread of the virus. Workers were subjected to isolation under observance of covid-19 protocols before return to work place.
“Positive asymptomatic cases need not isolate but shall be observed for five days and return to work without the need for further testing,” CS Mutahi Kagwe stated
The government has officially today scrapped the use of face mask as covid-19 graph flattens.
