The international Criminal Court’s case against Deputy president William Ruto’s lawyer Paul Gicheru has taken a different shape as details by the Standard reports.
It’s reportedly that lawyer Paul Gicheru represented Deputy president William Ruto at International Criminal Court over the allegations of violation of human rights during the 2007/2008 post election violence.
However, details emerged that Lawyer Paul Gicheru had allegedly bribed a witness who had set to testify against William Ruto’s Case. The allegations opened up a case for Lawyer Paul Gicheru for allegedly involving in bribery. However, Gicheru’s case was concluded by the prosecutor and allowed to return Kenya.
After the conclusion of Lawyer Paul Gicheru’s ICC Case, details have Emerged against the case as Lawyer Gicheru has asked the International Criminal Court to order the prosecutor to produce a video recording on witness.Mr Gicheru has said that the witness might have coerced with fresh information against him.
However, according to the details by ICC registrar, Mr Peter Lewis, Mr Paul Gicheru’s case was concluded after the presentation of evidence by the office of the prosecutor.
