Kalonzo Musyoka’s ally has dismissed Azimio La Umoja following Kalonzo Musyoka’s decision to join Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta’s camp at KICC, Nairobi during Azimio La Umoja National Delegates Convention.
Kalonzo Musyoka officially endorsed Raila Odinga as the presidential flagbearer of Azimio La Umoja.
However, Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior has rejected Kalonzo Musyoka’s union with Azimio La Umoja. The Wiper Party Leader , Kalonzo Musyoka Joined Azimio La Umoja for a major coalition ahead of August election poll.
“Kalonzo Musyoka made a personal decision, not of the community or wiper party,we can’t Be Forced to Azimio, soon we are giving the direction wiper party and the community is going to take,” Mutula Kilonzo junior stated
However, Mutula Kilonzo junior has rejected the pact, affirming that the move was Kalonzo Musyoka’s personal decision and not of Wiper Party or Ukambani community.
Senator Mutula further gave the way forward that soon they shall give their direction of Wiper party and Ukambani community at Large.
However, Makueni governor Kivuta Kibwana has reacted to Mutula Kilonzo junior’s sentiments dismissing his claims. According to governor Kibwana, wiper doesn’t gave out contrary opinion following Kalonzo Musyoka’s pronouncement.Kibwana further added that Azimio is the way for the future of Kenyans.
“If WIPER gives contradictory messages to Ukambani and Kenya in general, that will not be healthy. The Party Leader made a pronouncement. Some people should not continue to hold him hostage. Azimio is the way for our future. What other option is Junior proposing?” said Governor Kivuta Kibwana
