UAE President Sheikh Khalifa died at the aged of 73.
The ministry announced 40 days of mourning in the country with flags at half-mast from Friday, with work suspended in the public and private sector for the first three days
President Uhuru Kenyatta has sent a message of condolence to the Government and the people of the United Arab Emirates following the death of President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan who passed away today aged 73.
“On behalf of the Government and the People of Kenya and on my own behalf, I wish to convey our deepest sympathies and condolences to the Government and People of the United Arab Emirates following the death of President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan” President Kenyatta.
