Mass Defection is Looming in deputy president William Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA) as election poll gets its verge.
It has been alleged that Ruto’s UDA pact with Amani National Congress party of Musalia Mudavadi has brought division in Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
This emerges as ANC sets condition for position two seat. This comes as ANC allies claimed that Musalia Mudavadi should be DP Ruto’s Runningmate ahead of August election poll. The move has ignited tension in Kenya Kwanza Alliance camp threatening unity.
However, mass exodus of UDA’s allies has been reportedly following the move by Ruto’s allies in Mount Kenya Region, Rift Valley Region and and Western. Sirisia Member of Parliament John Waluke was the first one from Western region to decamp DP Ruto.
It’s reportedly that Kimilili member of Parliament Didmus Barasa is set to lead aspirants in an Exodus that could cost heavily Deputy president William Ruto in the support that he enjoyed in the counties of Trans Nzoia and Bungoma.
It’s has been alleged that the entry of ANC boss Musalia Mudavadi and his Ford Kenya counterpart Moses Wetangula to Ruto’s camp has dispatched DP Ruto’s vocal politicians who have been serving as Ruto’s point men in Western Kenya.
