In a video circulating on social media, a men were seen beating a woman with huge rods of sticks besides his.
The Woman pleaded for help from the onlookers in the luo dialect but all was in as the men continued canning her helplessly.
“Bwana this is totally UNACCEPTABLE. Why do this to an elderly woman? Outright physical assault, these men MUST be arrested IMMEDIATELY,” Blogger Mutai asserted.
Blogger Mutai claimed that the man who was with the woman was the son and they were being disciplined together.
The Video caught the attention of the interior security cabinet secretary Dr Fred Matiang’i who called for the arrest of the suspects and the crowd of onlookers who did not offer any help to the woman.
“This is intolerable GENDER VIOLENCE! It doesn’t matter what this woman did! I have asked the RC Nyanza and his security team to immediately hunt for these beastly perpetrators & their crowd of onlookers and apprehend them so that an opportunity is set for them to face the law!” Matiang’i remarked.
