West Mugirango aspiring MP Charles Mong’are Ongoto allied to DP William Ruto has attacked President Uhuru Kenyatta following his sentiments against Deputy president William Ruto.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has been accusing his deputy over corruption scandles in jubilee government as he failed to succeed Jubilee government’s major developmental projects.
Speaking, Charles Ongoto asked West Mugirango residents in Nyamira County to consider him during United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party’s nomination poll and ultimately vote for him for the parliamentarian seat on 9th August for a major transformation of West Mugirango constituency.
Charles Ongoto who launched UDA campaign in West Mugirango asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to keep off from succession politics. Mr Ongoto affirmed to President Uhuru Kenyatta that despite of his bid to call his tribesmen and direct them where to vote, they will frustrate him because they are wise.
“Keep off succession politics. Kenyans are not fools. Don’t think that when you call your tribesmen at Sagana hotel and direct them where to vote they will follow you, they will not. These people are wise, Kikuyus are wise, Kisiis are wise and generally Kenyans are wise,” Charles Ongoto stated
Ongoto further condemned president Uhuru Kenyatta for abusing his deputy William Ruto publicly at Sagana hotel. Ongoto ascertained that it’s a shameful action by president Uhuru Kenyatta to condemn DP Ruto in public domain.
“It’s not the business of the president to abuse his deputy. It’s shameful that you call a tribal meeting and then you abuse your deputy,” Asp MP Ongoto stated
Charles Ongoto further asked Kenyans to ignore president Uhuru Kenyatta as he has six months to be out of office and go home. He slammed President Uhuru Kenyatta for failing to take DP Ruto to court if he’s the thief as alleged.
“You cannot tell us that somebody is a theif and you have never charged that person in court. I urge Kenyans to ignore the president, he only has six months to go home,” Charles Ongoto stated
